The Canadian Union of Public Staff (CUPE) introduced on Monday that 96.5% of Ontario schooling staff who solid a poll have now voted in favour of a strike.
In accordance with Laura Walton, instructional assistant and president of CUPE’s Ontario College Boards Council of Unions (OSBCU), within the case a strike takes place, will probably be within the hopes of securing a “respectable pay improve” after what it says has been a decade of wage cuts, along with bettering staffing and repair safety.
