Watch Phoenix Perform Upbeat Single ‘Alpha Zulu’ on ‘Kimmel’ – Rolling Stone

Phoenix stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Stay to point out off their latest single “Alpha Zulu.” The bouncy, post-disco monitor comes off Alpha Zulu, Phoenix’s new LP, out Nov. 4 through Loyaute/Glassnote Information.

Alpha Zulu was produced by Phoenix and recorded in Paris’ Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The band dropped title monitor again in June, and adopted with “Tonight,” which options Ezra Koenig. In line with a press launch, frontman Thomas Mars was impressed to write down the monitor by the phrase “alpha zulu,” which he “heard a pilot repeating over the radio throughout a turbulent flight in a storm.” The LP will mark the group’s first in 5 years following 2017’s Ti Amo. 

Phoenix is at the moment on a North American headlining tour in help of the brand new music. The trek wraps Oct. 18 on the Pepsi Middle in Mexico Metropolis. A string of European and U.Okay. dates will comply with. The band may even carry out at Austin Metropolis Limits in October.
