
Pop singer’s new LP, The Loneliest Time, is out Oct. 21
Carly Rae Jepsen has dropped one other new tune from her forthcoming album The Loneliest Time, this time sharing the title monitor. Disco-tinged, anthemic quantity “The Loneliest Time” options Rufus Wainwright on visitor vocals because the pair showcases a dynamic duet.
“The Loneliest Time” was produced by Kyle Shearer and co-written by Jepsen, Shearer and Nate Cyphert. It follows the discharge of three prior singles from her new LP, out Oct. 21 through 604/Schoolboy/Interscope Data: “Speaking to Your self,” “Seaside Home,” and “Western Wind.”
The Loneliest Time marks Jepsen’s first full-length studio LP since 2019’s Devoted, which obtained an album-length B-side enlargement in 2020.
“I’m fairly fascinated by loneliness,” Jepsen tweeted alongside the album’s announcement. “It may be actually stunning once you flip it over and have a look at it. Identical to love, it could possibly trigger some excessive human reactions.”
The “Name Me Perhaps” singer is presently out on her So Good Tour, which helps The Loneliest Time and marks her first stretch of tour dates in three years.
