Man who was in stolen truck is fatally shot by LAPD

In line with the Los Angeles Police Division, a person was killed in a shootout with officers early Tuesday after he crashed right into a stolen truck in Wilmington and tried to flee.

Round 3:30 a.m., the police Chasing a stolen truck Close to Quay Avenue and E Avenue, in response to LAPD social media posts. The LAPD stated a person in his 40s was driving the car and obtained out of the truck and fled after the crash.

Police stated officers chased the person on foot and shot him lifeless. The person was arrested. Los Angeles Hearth Division paramedics pronounced him lifeless on the scene.

Police stated the person’s handgun was on the scene and could be recorded as proof. No bystanders or police had been injured within the taking pictures. The incident is underneath investigation.
